The tradition of the Kikizas family in food products begins in the
late '20s. In the '30s, the family enters the the field of pasta
products an in 1947, a new pasta factory is founded in Athens.
In 1974, a wheat mill is established in Larissa, the largest wheat
producing region in Greece. In 1980, an ultra modern factory is
built, also in Larissa.
Recently, Alex Kikizas SA completed a major modernisation of all
three plants. It is the leading company in Greece in pasta products
and one of the most important exporters in the food sector.
