the area of Kounavi, Creta Olympias has had for many years one of
the most famous wineries of the island. Furthermore, the name of the
village Kounavi, is connected with the well-known wine-presses "Kanaves"
at the island of Archipelago. |

Olympias with its new, contemporary, privately owned installations,
today consists one of the most dynamic private enterprises of producing
and bottling quality wines in Crete. Faithful to its philosophy, having
managed to upgrade the precious Cretan wines and the local oenological
potential, it continues to seek and to exploit fruitful vineyards
both in Crete and in other viticultural of Greece. |

Our
stone cellar, equipped with ISO systems for temperature and humidity
control, the stainless steel tanks fitted with all temperature control
auxiliary equipment and the fully organized chemical laboratory are
some of the factors that enable us to establish and maintain the quality
of our wines.
The awards and distinctions that we have won in international wine
competitions in Greece, in Europe and in Japan, justify our efforts
and prompt us to continue with the same enthousiasm and respect. With
our commercial network and selected partners in Greece and abroad,
we managed to become an inseparable part of the wine lovers' society. |
